The Aitken College Building Fund exists to bring to life a vision of excellence in learning—one that begins with thoughtfully designed spaces that inspire curiosity, collaboration and crativity.

Current Projects

Outdoor Barrel Building Fund

Location: Current multi-purpose outdoor courts behind Gymnasium

Proposed Amount: $2,000,000

The proposed outdoor sports shade aims to provide an exciting enhancement to the school’s commitment to active, healthy learning. This purpose built structure will provide valuable undercover space for students, allowing sports, physical education, and outdoor activities to continue comfortably throughout the year. By offering protection from the sun and weather, the shade creates a safer and more versatile environment where students can practise skills, participate in team games, and enjoy movement based learning without interruption.

The space will also support whole school events, informal play, and lunchtime activities, giving students more opportunities to stay active and engaged. More than a practical upgrade, the new sports shade reflects our dedication to promoting wellbeing, encouraging participation, and ensuring every child has access to quality outdoor learning experiences. It will become a vibrant hub of energy, teamwork, and school spirit for years to come.
