Our scholarship programs reflects our commitment to providing students with opportunities to grow academically, creatively and personally within a vibrant Christian learning community. Scholarships at Aitken College are designed to recognise students who demonstrate outstanding potential, passion and commitment in sports, arts, music, and academics.
Receiving a scholarship at Aitken College is about more than financial support. It is an invitation to become an active contributor to the life of the College: to challenge yourself, to lead by example, and to uphold our shared values of respect, integrity and community. Scholarship recipients are supported by dedicated staff, enriched learning opportunities, and an environment that encourages students to strive for excellence while remaining grounded, compassionate and connected.
The Foundation Scholarship covers the full tuition fees for one outstanding Year 12 student each year. Students currently in Year 11 are invited to apply for the scholarship, which will be awarded for their final year of schooling. The program is designed to recognise exceptional achievement, personal character, and commitment to the Aitken College values.The scholarship is fully funded by Aitken College and supported by the College Board, reflecting their ongoing dedication to rewarding excellence and supporting students in their senior studies. By providing financial support for Year 12 tuition, the College aims to empower a deserving student to focus fully on their academic goals and contributions to the school community during this milestone year.
The Parents & Friends Arts Scholarship is awarded to exceptional Year 12 students demonstrating outstanding talent in visual or performing arts. This scholarship supports a specialised study program aligned with the student’s chosen subjects, developed in consultation with relevant subject teachers. Applications are invited from Year 11 students for the following academic year. The scholarship is generously funded by the Parents & Friends Association and may cover all or part of the program costs.
The Parents & Friends Sports Scholarship is awarded to a Year 6 student who demonstrates exceptional talent and potential in sport. This scholarship supports participation in a specialised coaching program or holiday camp, selected in consultation with Aitken College sports coaches to complement the student’s development. Applications are invited from Year 5 students for the following academic year. The scholarship is generously funded by the Parents & Friends Association and may cover all or part of the program costs.
The Rachel Woodhams Music Scholarship is offered to outstanding Year 7 or Year 8 students who demonstrate exceptional talent in singing and/or music composition. The scholarship supports the recipient in the following school year by funding a course, masterclass, workshop, or similar musical development opportunity that they wish to pursue. Course selection is made in consultation with Aitken College music teachers to ensure the program aligns with the student’s interests and supports their continued growth. Students currently in Years 7 or 8 are invited to apply for the scholarship, with recipients selected based on musical aptitude, commitment, and potential for further development.
