27 February 2026
The only official fundraising group for Aitken College, our Parents and Friends Association support projects nominated by the Principal, with money raised contributing to facilities and programs designed to benefit all students.
Everyone is welcome to support an event or function directly by assisting with the organisation and realisation of the event, some form of sponsorship or donation, or by attending to offer your support. All profits raised go directly back to our students through specific projects or through supporting Arts and Sports Scholarships.
The committee is overseen by an elected cross-section of visionary and energetic parents, representative of students across all year levels. Any of them welcome ideas for future activities and are here to support the whole parent community.

Meetings are generally held twice each term, often remotely at 7pm. All members of our community are encouraged to attend in meetings. Upcoming meetings are scheduled for Thursday 5 March, Tuesday 28 April and Wednesday 27 May. Links will be published through AIMS.
Apart from regular Pre-Loved Uniform Sales, Mother’s and Father’s Day breakfasts and gift stalls, P&F run social events in the form of the very popular Dance Parties. This year Cumberland Dance Party is scheduled for Thursday 30 April, while Fairview will be later in the year on 19 November. Extending the reach, late March, P&F will assist with a Year 7 social afternoon.
The major focus of fundraising efforts for 2026 is the building of an additional bike shed at the end of the new entrance path. The target for this fundraising is $30 000 which will commence with the Term One effort, the return of the Fun Run on Sunday 22 March.
All students who register and participate will receive a headband, wrist bands and sunglasses to wear during the event.
There are other rewards outlined on the sponsorship page based on funds raised.
The day is not only a day for those running, but there will also be stalls and food available for those there supporting them so come along and help us towards that target. Keep an eye on AIMS for further updates, encourage your child to be involved or sponsor a child who will take to the track. Go to myprofilepage.com.au and register today. Business supporters can register their interest HERE with spaces available from $10 to $150.
In second term, fundraising will centre around a Pie Drive. Orders can be placed from the start of May and will be delivered fresh on Wednesday 10 June, just in time for the winter school holidays. Keep a look out for order forms which will be sent home with students at the start of term two and for further communications in AIMS.
The year will end with a planned free Community Christmas Carols Evening on the Dunhelen Field. The committee is currently seeking sponsorship and is exploring a grant from Hume City Council to make the event possible. If you have a business who would be willing to offer some form of major sponsorship, please get in touch with pandf@aitkencollege.edu.au to discuss.
We are planning a mega-raffle for fourth term which will be drawn during the night. Donations of major prizes are invited for the raffle. It might be something that your business can offer as a prize, or maybe your business would be willing to sponsor a prize.
Note Saturday 28 November in your calendar for us to gather as a community in the spirit of Christmas.
The P&F also welcomes volunteers for other events throughout the year, including running the CPA canteen during musical and other shows, as well as a barbecue and stall during Open Evening on Wednesday 21 October. Details of upcoming events and calls for volunteers will be posted via AIMS, so keep an eye out for opportunities to contribute to our fundraising efforts.
Further updates of the P&F Calendar is available on the College Website and via the P&F page on AIMS.
A school community is only as strong as those who participate in and contribute to it. The Aiken College community has always been a strong one, and we hope you will consider playing your part in helping it grow even stronger.
